Melissa Maitland PT, DPT

Melissa is from Norwalk, Connecticut.  She received her Bachelors  Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Rehabilitation Science.  Melissa continued her education and Graduated from Emory University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree with Honors.    She  moved to Las Vegas in 2011.

Since the start of her career in Physical Therapy Melissa has worked with patients who have experienced Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Trauma, Orthopedic injuries/surgery, Military injury and more. Melissa's interest has been in geriatrics and neuromuscular rehabilitation.  She has pursued this interest in many settings leading her to earn Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation.  In 2011, Melissa joined The Balance Center of Las Vegas.

Melissa's  greatest passion is her fabulous doggie Roxy.


Todd Mansel,  PTA

Todd Mansel is a native of Western Pennsylvania.   He attended   Pennsylvania State University, where he earned his Associate Degree in Applied Sciences in 1999.

Upon graduation, Todd moved to Las Vegas to pursue his career as a Physical Therapy Assistant. He held a position at Integrated Health Services Mountain View Center before joining Jean Hanna Clark Rehabilitation Center.  While at JHC, Todd was part of a specialized neuromuscular team that provided physical, occupational, speech and vocational rehabilitation.

Todd has worked in balance and vestibular rehabilitation since 2001, when
Jim Buskirk, the Chicago based owner of Peak and Balance Centers of America, brought Todd on to assist with vestibular and neuromuscular patients.  In the last nine years, Todd has attended several highly rated vestibular courses across the country, increasing his expertise in this specialty.

Todd has worked with the Las Vegas chapter of the American Parkinson's Disease Association for three years, and teaches a weekly exercise class with Patty Monreal for the Association.  He also consults for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Southern Nevada.  Todd enjoys hiking, Pilates and Gyrotonics.


Beth Sroka

Beth Sroka was born New York City. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.  She furthered her education by receiving a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance at Baruch College in New York, New York.

Since the early 1990's, Beth has been working in Patient Rehabilitation and brings a vast experience of working in the medical field in many facets including consulting and organizing the opening/management of medical practices and physical therapy groups.  As a partner of The Balance Center of Las Vegas, Beth has been instrumental in establishing sound operational policies. Furthermore, she brings the experience of years of hiring and managing employees to The Balance Center of Las Vegas providing the best therapists and staff for our Patient's care.

Beth enjoys volunteering her time to many non-profit organizations throughout the Las Vegas Valley, spending time with her family including Ruby her dog, cooking fabulous food, and has a passion for Pilates.
